We are dedicated to promoting animal welfare and advocating for the rights of all living creatures across Southern and East Africa.

Rhino Conservation in Uganda

By the 1980s, political unrest and commercial poaching had wiped out entire rhino populations across Uganda and Zambia. Since their reintroduction in the 2000s, the threat hasn't gone away:

Despite severe penalties and high levels of security, the illegal horn trade continues to loom.

As Ugandan and Zambian populations grow, the natural habitats for rhino populations shrink, bringing rhinos closer to humans and increasing the risk of conflicts.

Luv4All Foundation is committed to conserving rhinos in Uganda and Zambia through a multi-faceted approach that includes:

Educating local communities, schools, and stakeholders about the importance of rhino conservation. The goal is to achieve coexistence with rhinos and reduce human-rhino conflict.

Involving local communities directly in developing conservation strategies. Rhino conservation depends on cooperation among local communities – this is why we involve communities directly instead of imposing our own perspective.

Advocating for policies and practices that support rhino conservation and protect their habitats. We use scientific research and data to inform conservation efforts and ensure effective strategies.

Supporting existing efforts by partnering with law enforcement, government agencies, and conservation organizations to preserve and restore rhino habitats

We are Southern and East Africa's leading voice for the rights and welfare of aquatic animals. The program focuses on:

Humane Slaughter & Technical Innovation

Currently, millions of fish in Uganda and Zambia are killed through painful, prolonged asphyxiation. We work with fishers and train them on pre-slaughter electrical stunning technology to reduce the suffering of aquatic animals. We’re the first organization in the region to deploy electrical stunning pilots for small-scale and industrial aquaculture.

Corporate Welfare Pledges

We partner with Uganda's and Zambia’s largest fish producers and retailers to secure public, time-bound commitments to higher welfare standards. Our Fish Bill of Rights focuses on:

  • Scientific stocking densities: reducing stress and disease by giving fish adequate space

  • Water quality monitoring: ensuring high dissolved oxygen levels to prevent respiratory distress

  • Sentience recognition: moving the industry toward treating fish as sentient individuals rather than commodities

We align our work with global best practices, including the Five Domains of Animal Welfare, Aquatic Animal Alliance (AAA) Standards, and WOAH Guidelines.

We also advocate for higher farmed animal welfare during transport through driver certification and humane handling standards.

Waves of Empathy Media

We use radio and digital platforms to promote the rights of all sentient beings. We produce podcasts and radio broadcasts in local languages (including Swahili) to amplify the Oneness message.
