At Luv4all Foundation, we are fully committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with the Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information on our website and through our programs.

1. Lawful Principles of Collection

In line with Section 3 of the Act, we process all data fairly, lawfully, and transparently. We only collect information that is necessary to fulfill our community development, advocacy, and social enterprise goals:  

Personal Identification: Your name, phone number, email address, and physical location.

Financial & Supporter Data: Secure processing of financial support and grants via third-party processors. We do not store your direct banking credentials.

Children’s Data Protection: We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18 without explicit prior consent from a parent or legal guardian.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is strictly utilized to advance our mission and support our local initiatives. 

Managing program registrations, training academies, and community-led credit groups (SACCOs).

Acknowledging partnerships, processing donations, and issuing project reports.

Communicating foundation news and updates (you retain the right to opt-out at any time).

3. Data Storage, Safety, and Breach Notification

No Commercial Sharing: We do not sell, lease, or distribute your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention: Personal information is safely retained only for the duration necessary to fulfill its intended purpose or as required by law.  

Security & Breach Enforcement: We utilize strong technical protections to guard against unauthorized access. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will immediately report it to the National Personal Data Protection Office (PDPO) and notify affected individuals as mandated by law.

Under Ugandan law, you have distinct rights regarding your information:  

The right to access a copy of your data.  

The right to rectify or correct inaccurate records.  

The right to object to processing or request the deletion of your data from our systems.
